Zero Dot is an application developed by Panos Dentsas, a Greek Android developer, aimed at enhancing the user experience of those utilizing the zero.facebook.com platform.

Zero Dot introduces additional functionalities to the standard free 0 Facebook service and operates even without a data or Wi-Fi connection. This unique feature allows users to receive notifications containing the sender's name, message timestamp, and content immediately, including sound alerts for new messages, eliminating the need to constantly check for updates manually.

As the application is currently in the beta phase, users may encounter some bugs and certain features might not be fully functional yet. Some identified issues include:

• It does not currently support the 'Login Approvals' feature or any form of user authentication beyond standard passwords (users must disable these features to utilize the app).
• Emojis are not displayed in notifications and will be replaced with blank spaces.
• Possible occasional crashes (unlikely unless significant errors occur).
• Performance may be affected under extreme circumstances (only in cases of critical malfunctions).

Warning:

The app will pause every 30 minutes, displaying only sender information and timestamp. To view message content without interruptions, users can either purchase the pro version within the app or access it for free by completing a survey.

This app utilizes the Pollfish SDK, an online survey platform that enables survey distribution. Pollfish collaborates with smartphone application developers to engage users and conduct surveys. Upon launching this app, specific device data (including Advertising ID - processed strictly by Pollfish following Google Play policies - and other relevant device information) and response metadata (such as installed applications) are transmitted to Pollfish servers to determine survey eligibility.
